With record unemployement and a strong economy, it would side like a great time to look for new opportunities as well as a chance for companies to focus on finding the right individuals for openings, right? Not necessarily! Our speaker this month will talk about some of common mistakes that both job seekers and hiring managers make and why both groups may be missing out.

Jeff Snyder is a recruiter and career coach from Woodland Park Colorado. He has over 28 years of experience helping organizations find the right person for an opening, as well as providing career coaching to a wide range of security leaders and professionals.

He will be joining the ASIS Denver Mile-Hi Chapter for our September meeting and will spearhead a conversation on the current job market. Whether you are looking for an opportunity or play a role in selecting and hiring new security professionals, Jeff will have some valuable insights and tidbits to help you in your search. 

The meeting will be held at Mimi's Cafe in Lone Tree. Networking and check-in will start at 11:15 and at 11:30 please plan on being seated so lunch can be ordered and the meeting can be kicked off on time. 

There is no meeting cost - you pay for your own lunch. Please do register in advance so we can plan for enough space for the meeting.
