Free Webinar: De-Escalating Dangerous Situations

Without question, people are under an unprecedented amount of stress. From fears over the pandemic to the country’s growing financial crisis, mental health professionals and law enforcement are seeing a significant rise in suicides and unprovoked violent attacks as a result of people’s inability to cope.

This 60-minute webinar will provide practical methods for de-escalating potentially dangerous situations before they rise to the level of violence.

The webinar will cover:

  • Situational awareness
  • Recognizing someone in crisis
  • The principles of de-escalation
  • What to do when words fail
  • Additional training opportunities

Audience: This webinar is ideal for anyone who serves in a safety or security role or whose job puts them at risk of frequent confrontations with other individuals. Security Officers, Property Managers, etc.

Your webinar host: Craig Cable

Craig is a Reserve Deputy for the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office and is trained and certified in a variety of de-escalation techniques. He serves on the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) and provides CIT coaching for other members of law enforcement. Craig also trains church security teams and faith-based schools on de-escalation as the Director of Ministry Safety for the American Church Group of Colorado.
