Join us for a conversation surrounding inclusion and diversity in the workplace.  We will review a case study of DEN, where they were and how they have moved thru the process to get where they are today.  Our dynamic speakers are part of the DEN Future Workforce Development Committee and are excited to share some of their tips and tricks and pitfalls in the process.  We will focus on how to normalize the conversation and implement a program into day to day operations.  Please review our speakers below and register today!

 

Jovan Keith – DEN Future Workforce Development Manager

Jovan Keith is an educational advocate for student access and champions youth development and training programs.  She brings more than a decade of career experience specifically focused on corporate and community student programs and outreach.  Her accomplishments, educational background, and training reflect a commitment to workforce development and upward mobility for underrepresented groups.

Jovan currently serves as the Manager of Future Workforce Development at Denver International Airport (DEN). Her previous roles include Director of College Outreach for a non-profit in Atlanta, Georgia, that included leading student development and career exploration at Spelman College, Morehouse College, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Agnes Scott, and Emory University; and a role overseeing internships and employee performance management at Colorado Department of Human Services.  She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from DeVry’s Keller School of Management, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Education and Sociology from Emory University, in Atlanta, Georgia.

  

Oliver Zornoza - DEN Culture & Strategy Project Coordinator

Oliver Zornoza serves as the Project Coordinator on Denver International Airport’s Culture & Strategy team. He helps support the Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion team and the Employee Engagement Committee, along with the other Culture & Strategy programs: ADA & Title VI, Continuous Improvement, Future Workforce Development, and Wellness. He previously worked with Denver Community Planning & Development Inspection Services team and Human Services Low-Income Energy Assistance program. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, International and Urban Studies from the University of Miami (FL). Oliver is tri-lingual and was raised with a multi-cultural background to appreciate the strength of interconnectedness in the human network, and strives to break down barriers to access to services and opportunity.
